Electro porcelain is a sub-type of porcelain -one of the traditional ceramic products-, which is used in technical and in insulation applications thanks to its high mechanical strength and electrical resistance, as well as to its high resistance to temperature changes.

The production starts with the kaolin-feldspar-quartz triple system being put through various shaping stages such as wet casting, extrusion, dry pressing and wet pressing, and from there the greenbody is sintered at high temperatures.

The areas of use of electroporcelain can be listed as low voltage equipment, insulators and rashing rings.
